July 9th – Release Notes – v1.13.79

1) Updated the label to Asset Group on the Compliance Summary card under Tagging compliance

2)  New AWS Assets Added – Added support for the following AWS asset types:

  • Amazon Bedrock
  • Amazon Bedrock Guardrail
  • Amazon Bedrock Custom Model
  • CloudWatch Log Group
  • CloudWatch Metric Filter

3) EKS Containers Support

Added support for collecting EKS Containers.

For EKS container collection, additional IAM access is required on each EKS cluster.

Required policy:

 

Configuration Steps

  1. Navigate to the Amazon EKS console.
  2. Select the required EKS Cluster.
  3. Open the Access tab.
  4. Under IAM access entries, click Add access entry.
  5. Configure the following:
    • IAM Principal: PaladinCloudIntegrationRole
    • Type: Standard
  6. Attach the following access policy:
    • AmazonEKSViewPolicy
  7. Save the configuration.

Note: This permission is required for PaladinCloud to collect EKS namespaces, pods, containers, and other Kubernetes resources in a read-only manner

New Features

Tagging Compliance Dashboard

A new Tagging page has been added under the Compliance menu to provide comprehensive insights into resource tagging compliance.

The dashboard consists of the following sections:

1. Compliance Overview

Provides a high-level summary of the organization’s tagging compliance, including:

Asset compliance overview with comparison against the previous week.

Overall tagging compliance score with week-over-week delta.

2. Compliance Summary

Provides detailed tag compliance information, including:

Tag-wise compliance statistics for each asset type.

Period-based filtering for the last 6 weeks.

3. Compliance Trend

Provides historical tagging compliance trends, including:

Interactive trend graph.

Period filters for weekly and monthly views.
